This
site has had two other forums before we settled on the new current one.
The first one was in operation from March of 2001 up to December of
2002. This forum didn't require any logging, usernames, passwords. None of
that. Anyone was able to post at will. That was both a good thing as well
as a bad thing. It was nice for those people who didn't want to sign up
for an account - or couldn't - on a web forum. However, because of abuse
by a few people who didn't like the way I ran the site felt they had to harass
me repeatedly everyday until I suspended posting on that forum.
The
second forum was in operation from January to July of 2003. This forum
was actually only just one forum among a few others in my main homepage's forum,
the SJNetwork. This forum required a signup for a username and password. As much as I hated to make
it harder for those who just wanted to quickly post without the hassle of
signing up for anything, I had to for security reasons. It worked out
really well for about six months with new members signing up almost every
week with loads of discussions almost everyday. But, then I decided it was
time for Classic Pie In The Face Humor to have it's very own
new forum with
different separate forums and categories for this site.
Both old forums
are still in existence and I plan on keeping them alive to save all the
old posts in them. None of the posts on the first forum can not be replied
to. The second forum can still be posted to for now, as soon as everyone
from the second forum completely moves onto the new current one I will
suspend posting there as well.
So, for sentimental enjoyment of looking
back at the good times and discussions from both old forums, feel free to
browse. :)
