Subject: Greetings from Paris!!!!!!!
Hello everyone.
I'M HERE!!!!! I can't
believe I'm finally here. The flight was great, they played one movie,
The Matrix. It was good seeing the movie again, Rob didn't watch it,
he just slept. The flight was a little late getting in the air, it
took off about a little after 10:00 EST. It felt good flying again,
after ten years of not flying. It was nothing, it was very smooth.
Anyway, we arrived in
Paris just before 10:00 their time, we took a taxi to our hotel and
left our bags there and just walked around a bit while we waited for
our room to be ready, it was ready about 2:30. After we got to our
room we took a shower and slept for a little while, I didn't sleep on
the plane because I wanted to see Matrix again. :o)
After we woke up we
went back out and walked by the Arc De Triemph, then to the Eiffle
Tower, I took lots of videos and snapshots. I couldn't believe I was
actually looking at the Eiffle Tower with my own two eyes, in person.
We didn't go up inside it yet, we walked under it and all over around
it, it's a very beautiful structure. I got some pictures of me
standing in front of it and I also took some pictures of Rob in front
of it also, as well as videos. I had Rob take a video of me holding a
picture of Pierre (my French cartoon character that I created a long
time ago), it was funny. We saw the tunnel that the crash of Princess
Diana took place in, it's right by the Eiffle Tower, I took some
videos and a snap shot of it.
The weather is GREAT
here, it's about as hot as Long Island, but there is no humidity, so
that's good. Rob and I ate at a nice cafe last night, which was about
6:00 EST. It was nice, the French guy that served us was VERY nice. I
gave my camera to Rob to take a picture of me sitting at the table and
the guy offered to take the picture for us while we were both sitting
at the table, so that's what we did.
I had a good night
sleep, I'm adjusting well to the time difference. We woke up at about
8:30 to 9:00 and had breakfast at the Hotel, then we went back in the
room and crashed for a few more hours, we needed the sleep. We woke up
again at about noon here, then we got ready and headed out again.
I'm at one of those
Internet cafes, it's great. We walked quite a distance to get here,
but we were enjoying all the sites on the way, it's very beautiful
here. I'm enjoying EVERY minute of it. Can you believe it that I'm
here? After almost six years of wanting to come here.
Anyway, that's all I
have to say for now. I plan on coming back to check my mail and to
respond to anything and send out another message.
