> ~Ok this is what i think. I think that there are circumstances to lie. I think that the one Al said was a perfect example. But if he was lying to save is own life, i think that may be a little selfish. Ex. If someone came to the door of my house and asked if there were any christians in the house to me, i would say Yes, and if they asked who, id say me. Because I'd be persecuted for righteousness sake. Which would be a blessing. Now if anyone came and asked if there were any Jews in my house to me, and my jewish friend were in the next room, I might say "no" for there sake. Unless i was asked otherwise by the friend. Now i am not saying there is neutrality in the Kingdom of God, but i am saying if you are lying for your own life, you are wrong. But to save anothers life that is fine. I think. Dont think i am saying it is good to lye for a friend, cause that is wrong, but there life is different. As for the surprise party. I think it is not lying and it is fine. You dont have to lye to think of a plan, but if you have to then fine.
Im sorry that my last post wasnt clear enough..thats what happens when you are trying to talk to people and post something at the sametime...ok..what I want to know is:
Do you believe that lying to get someone to a surprise party is wrong? For my 16th Birthday, my parents gave me a surprise party, but they had to lie to me to get me there. Do you believe doing something like that is wrong?
